Choose from the Following CPD Sessions

Sustaining Creative Momentum

Creative momentum is sustained through clarity, not constant intervention.
Small, intentional shifts that help students think more deeply, take creative risks, and move forward with direction.
We explore language, routines, and micro-structures that strengthen pace, energy, and ownership across extended projects.

Materials-Led Experimentation: Building Confidence Through Process and Play

Confidence grows when students are allowed to think through materials.
Studio-informed, material-led routines that build curiosity, low-stakes exploration, and creative confidence.
Teachers learn simple, purposeful structures that support thinking-in-action and open up new possibilities in the studio.

Refinement & Sketchbook Clarity: Calm Structures for Depth, Quality and Progress

Refinement becomes clearer when students know what decision to make — not what to add.
A calm, accessible approach to refinement that removes overwhelm and helps students work with depth.
We explore sequencing, annotation, the SRCC 6Rs, and simple structures that build clarity in sketchbooks and portfolios.

Building Brilliant KS3: Designing Meaningful, Engaging Pathways for Creative Growth

Strong KS3 builds confidence before assessment pressure shapes habits.
Practical ways to create a KS3 experience that is coherent, contemporary, inclusive, and genuinely creative.
We explore project structures, material practice, progression, and approaches that strengthen engagement and ambition.

Artist References That Matter: Inclusive, Contemporary Approaches for Richer Student Thinking

When artists carry the thinking, students rely less on the teacher.
Inclusive, contemporary approaches to working with artists as thinking tools rather than styles to copy.
Teachers explore ways of using artist references to deepen enquiry, broaden visual language, and strengthen purposeful annotation.

What to Expect in Every Session

• Studio-informed, process-led routines you can apply immediately
• Real student examples (shared with permission)
• Clear reflective prompts to deepen thinking
• Approaches that build confidence and curiosity
• A downloadable resource after the session
